She has worked as a writer, editor and columnist for leading national magazines, newspapers and websites including _The Guardian, Daily Express_, BBC, Disney, _Glamour_, _Red_ and _Take a Break_. She is also the author of critically acclaimed plays performed in Yorkshire and London. Her first book _Balloonomania Belles_ was serialized in the _Mail on Sunday_ and received widespread coverage, including on BBC Woman's Hour and in the _New York Post_.
